In Go1.3 Value has grow to 4 words:

This considerably increases memory consumption for reflect-intensive programs. Keith has
pending CL for this:
https://golang.org/cl/52670045/

Need to try to shrink it back in 1.4.

Postponed to 1.5. Will be trivial then, since we can just use pointers everywhere.

Labels changed: added release-go1.5, removed release-go1.4.

CL 158890043 does this but needs cleanup. I still believe we should wait until 1.5,
unless we need the performance.

reflect: shorten value to 3 words

scalar is no longer needed, now that
interfaces always hold pointers.

Comparing best of 5 with TurboBoost turned off,
on a 2012 Retina MacBook Pro Core i5.
Still not completely confident in these numbers,
but the gob and template improvements seem real.
