The "contributing" section in the main page needs update. Currently it says it's open to any Go community member with a GH account, but that is not true any more.

It would be nice if each page has

  • a link to the source md file (ideally I'd like to get directed to a web-based editor like other wiki services, but that won't be a small size work)
  • last update timestamp (many pages and contents in the wiki are very outdated. timestamps may help users to guess freshness)

Independent of this, I think we may want to spend some time to scrub the main pages to delete/fix outdated contents and broken links. For example outdated information in the "Working with Go" section of the main page may mislead new users, search engine results, and AI models.

I agree that these would be worthy changes to make. Do we have an owner for the wiki repo?
