When watching the TryBots on https://go.dev/cl/522097, I noticed that the linux-amd64-newinliner builder was the slowest by far.

Its configuration seems to be derived from the linux-amd64-nounified builder, but for some reason it was configured without numTestHelpers or numTryTestHelpers set — in contrast, the nounified builder and the main linux-amd64 builder both set those values to 1 test and 4 try.

I suspect that was an oversight, and fixing that configuration might help reduce overall TryBot latency.
