@geniass requested issue #39260 to be considered for backport to the next 1.14 minor release.

@gopherbot please consider this for backport to 1.14.
This is breaking my program when parsing email header Dates. Ironically the problematic emails are coming from Google.

This has been fixed at tip and is not considered a serious issue. For that reason we are denying this candidate. Please comment if you feel this has been done in error, please feel free to comment on the issue.
