The thread you directed me to is locked. This banner is on my docs too. Docs that I wrote, that my organization relies on. Am I powerless here? |
That thread is locked because it got too contentious, as you can see by reading it. Although it is locked, it has the answers to your questions. |

I think that the docs are for documenting golang. I do not think they are the place for political rhetoric. I do not open a Webster dictionary and see an ad asking for donations to a political party. I see definitions. Furthermore, it is illegal for foreigners to donate to political parties. AT LEAST remove the banner for people that are not in the US.
