What did you do?

go list -e -deps does not report information on packages imported by packages that can't be loaded with go/build. This can be caused by:

  • Error parsing build constraints
  • Inconsistent package clauses
  • cgo used in test
  • Error parsing #cgo directives

build.NoGoError and scanner.ErrorList are specifically allowed.

What did you expect to see?

If a file's imports can be parsed, go list -e -deps should list those imports, regardless of errors parsing other files in the package.

What did you see instead?

go list -e -deps does not list imports from files without errors.
