The footer runs right up against the bottom of the page content, and because there's no padding, this means your eye has to scroll all the way to the bottom of the monitor to read the content at the end of a documentation page (where it might be in the way of menus, cause neck strain etc.)
Adding 40px or so of padding between the bottom of the page content and the start of the footer would help a lot.
