Is this issue reproducible for you? Does it happen each time you start the .pkg installer, even after you restart you computer?
Did you download it from https://golang.org/dl or somewhere else? Is its SHA256 checksum equal to
Can you verify if the build number is 17G65, or something else? I'm on macOS 10.13.6 (17G65) here, and I can't reproduce it. I downloaded go1.11.darwin-amd64.pkg just now, and it goes to "Installation Type" screen after I press Continue on the "Welcome" screen:

Thanks for your response. Yes, I downloaded from the link
https://golang.org/dl .
I am not sure what the root cause was, but after I rebooted my computer,
the installation worked successfully.

I downloaded the installer file - go1.11.darwin-amd64.pkg.
Once I start the installation, it wouldn't go to the next step.
What did you expect to see?
When "Welcome to the Go installer" shows, I click "Continue". I expect to go to the next step as "Destination Select"
What did you see instead?
Instead, I see it is stuck at the first step as "Introduction" when I press the "Continue" button.
