Please describe your experiences with the freebsd-amd64 binary distribution, both
positive and negative, here. Thanks.

Comment 1:

The binary distribution is working fine for me on FreeBSD/amd64, but I would like to see
a pkg_add-able package. This will allow people to use native tools to install and
upgrade Go packages in the future.

Comment 2 by pbgcosta:

The binary distribution is working fine so far. Regarding the pkg_add-able package it
will be easier for the port/package maintainer to provide it and update it using the
standard binary distribution.
